Sarah House is an 11-bedroom renovated convent in a quiet residential area, and within a 5-10 minute drive of all Syracuse area hospitals.

   Bedroom 1    Bedroom 2
Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with one or two beds, an alarm clock, dresser, mirror, sink, closet, bed linens, and bath towels. There are four and a half shared bathrooms, with all hospitality accompaniments.

Bedroom 3
Two first-floor, handicap accessible rooms are available with a handicap accessible bathroom.

Kitchen    Dining Room
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen on the first floor, which includes a stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot and refrigerator. There is also a kitchenette on the second floor, which includes a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Guests may bring in their own food to prepare meals. Basic kitchen essentials are provided by Sarah House. Washing machines and dryers are also located on both the first and second floors.

Family Room 1     Family Room 2
Common areas on the first floor include a family-style dining room and living room with comfortable furniture, a radio and television. On the second floor, there is another living room with comfortable furniture, a kitchenette, and a television. In warm weather the wicker furniture on the screened-in porch or lawn chairs in the backyard are a fine retreat.

Library
A library is located on the second floor, which can be a quiet retreat to read or check your email during your stay at the house.

Parking is available free of charge for our guests. Transportation is offered, as available, to guests without transportation at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sarah House is also located on the Centro Bus line which serves most area hospitals. We will provide emergency transportation during the night if necessary.

Across the street is an active Catholic Church and within a few blocks walk is a corner convenience store and a lovely green recreation park. Grocery stores and general shopping areas are a short five minute drive away.
